Second Life™ An Honest Review of 2 Items From MOEKO and Limerence

Four events opened today in SL and my plan was to get one item from each. 

These photos were taken at the Backdrop sim.

The Dress:

The Chloe dress was bought at The Darkness Event. It was created by Moeko Tatekana (moekotatekana) at MOEKO 

The Good:

• I like shiny texture
• It's a puffy lolita style
• The buttons in the front add a lot to the dress

The Oops:

• No demo posted - Note - This is important.

When a customer buys an item without a demo, their decision is based on the ad in front of them. Below, you'll see the same ad I did. There was, (when I bought the dress) no demo in the photo of the ad or anywhere else. Besides, the ad stated it fit Maitreya and that's the body I use. I mean, look at the models' photo, it seemed to be just fine.

Actually, the model has her shoulders covered. I didn't notice or suspect anything was being hidden. She certainly isn't standing sideways either.

*Both designers and bloggers can turn the model "just so" to get the look they want to achieve, sad but true.

I'm not saying it was on purpose, I'm just disappointed.

• The fit - shoulders are riding high
• The chest is completely exposed from the sides (I'm hiding the nips). This is as good as it's going to get.

• Wha!??? Buttons over the bootie? 😖 No, just no - grumble grumble...no demo.. grumble

The Score:

On a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the best of the best.

The Hair:

Created by Limerence, Andrea can found at the Fameshed event.

The Good:

• It's a bit soft hair (almost like a big Dolly Parton look about it).
• Since it is a large hair, you don't have to worry about the ears - they're covered!
• It has that messy morning-after look.
• The loop at the bottom of the braid is cute.
• You CAN change the color of the tiny hairband.
• The braid comes pretty darn close to my chest.

The Oops:

• Rigged - means no mod, at all. Try it before you buy it.
